I was honored to ║ │ │║ interview the man himself Udo Dirkschneider ║ │ │║ about this release and was equally thrilled to ║ │ │║ review the latest release ôDecadentö. ║ │ │║ ║ │ │║ As you all know U.D.O have been in the music ║ │ │║ industry for a number of decades meaning an ║ │ │║ impressive discography, touring all over the ║ │ │║ world and making an impact in the metal ║ │ │║ community. ║ │ │║ ║ │ │║ Onto the latest release; this is my first ║ │ │║ experience of listening to this band and I have ║ │ │║ to say I was treated to some fist bumping beats, ║ │ │║ finger shredding solos and powerful vocals, ║ │ │║ these all fuse together to create beautiful ║ │ │║ tunage that provide a way to escape the stresses ║ │ │║ of life. ║ │ │║ ║ │ │║ If you have read my previous reviews I usually ║ │ │║ pick a few tracks that stand out on the album ║ │ │║ and explain why; in the case of ôDecadentö ║ │ │║ however each and every track stood out ║ │ │║ beautifully in their own unique way. From the ║ │ │║ captivating ballad ôSecrets In Paradiseö to the ║ │ │║ adrenaline fuelled ôUntouchableö each song had a ║ │ │║ story to tell and it suited every mood. ║ │ │║ ║ │ │║ It concludes on an epidemic scale with the track ║ │ │║ ôShadow Eyesö.
