▓▓██████▓▓▌ ▐▓▓██████▓▓
▐▓███████▓▓ heyÆre Scottish, they are fantastic live, they ▓▓███████▓▌
▓▓███████▓▓ recently did a photo shoot where they ▓▓███████▓▓
▓▓███████▓▓ superimposed their heads on old peoplesÆ naked ▓▓███████▓▓
▓▓███████▓▓ bodies and they have the coolest and most ▓▓███████▓▓
▓▓███████▓▓ bizarre name in music. This ladies and gentlemen ▓▓███████▓▓
▓▓███████▓▓ is one of the bands of 2004 that is going to ▓▓███████▓▓
▓▓███████▓▓ change your life. As if we havenÆt had enough ▓▓███████▓▓
▓▓███████▓▓ already, Dogs Die in Hot Cars are not going to ▓▓███████▓▓
▓▓███████▓▓ go unnoticed and after releasing pop classics ▓▓███████▓▓
▓▓███████▓▓ and single of the year contenders ôMan Bites ▓▓███████▓▓
▓▓███████▓▓ Manö and ôGodhoppingö already this year, they ▓▓███████▓▓
▓▓███████▓▓ arenÆt giving up until everyone knows about ▓▓███████▓▓
▓▓███████▓▓ them. ▓▓███████▓▓
▓▓███████▓▓ ▓▓███████▓▓
▓▓███████▓▓ This single was originally released last year ▓▓███████▓▓
▓▓███████▓▓ but because of its general popularity and its ▓▓███████▓▓
▓▓███████▓▓ status as being a live favourite the band has ▓▓███████▓▓
▓▓███████▓▓ decided to re-record it and shove it out with a ▓▓███████▓▓
▓▓███████▓▓ great new B-Side. This version is better than ▓▓███████▓▓
▓▓███████▓▓ the other oneàsimple as. The pace has been ▓▓███████▓▓
▓▓███████▓▓ slowed down ever so slightly and the key has ▓▓███████▓▓
▓▓███████▓▓ gone down a semi-tone or twoàPLUSàthereÆs gospel ▓▓███████▓▓
▓▓███████▓▓ organ and keyboards! YUSSS!! The opening guitar ▓▓███████▓▓
▓▓███████▓▓ intro sounds like a ska influenced grooving ▓▓███████▓▓
▓▓███████▓▓ piece of funk whilst the solemn yet lively ▓▓███████▓▓
▓▓███████▓▓ (totally paradoxical I know) vocal gives real ▓▓███████▓▓
▓▓███████▓▓ life to the song and increases its beauty ▓▓███████▓▓
▓▓███████▓▓ several times over. The new interlude before the ▓▓███████▓▓
▓▓███████▓▓ ôOh, oh ee oh, ee ohhhhö bit gives the song a ▓▓███████▓▓
▓▓███████▓▓ much bigger build up and makes it sound like a ▓▓███████▓▓
▓▓███████▓▓ Queen-esque epic piece of pop. ▓▓███████▓▓
▓▓███████▓▓ ▓▓███████▓▓
▓▓███████▓▓ ôLightness in Weightö, the B-Side, is a piece of ▓▓███████▓▓
▓▓███████▓▓ acoustic gorgeousness with a great set of lyrics ▓▓███████▓▓
▓▓███████▓▓ and very nice harmonies. Dogsà have created yet ▓▓███████▓▓
▓▓███████▓▓ another piece of pop brilliance with this CD and ▓▓███████▓▓
▓▓███████▓▓ it goes to show what potential they posses and ▓▓███████▓▓
▓▓███████▓▓ that they deserve the buzz that has been created ▓▓███████▓▓
▓▓███████▓▓ around them. I canÆt express in words how great ▓▓███████▓▓
▓▓███████▓▓ I think they are but if you think Franz are ▓▓███████▓▓
▓▓███████▓▓ great, if you love the pop beauty of The ▓▓███████▓▓
▓▓███████▓▓ Killersàthen Dogs Die in Hot Cars will establish ▓▓███████▓▓
▓▓███████▓▓ themselves as your favourites very quickly ▓▓███████▓▓
