Well folks it's that time again here at ESM, you know...the time where we
bring you yet another gorgeous and quality laden release from one of our many
favorites at ESM. This time around we have the extreme pleasure of welcoming
back the incredibly talented and all-around good natured New York based
producer Maxim Stonor. Having made his way onto ESM with his hit single 7000
Miles, which was released last year on our seasonally themed Elliptical Sun
Sampler and supported by some great names including Boom Jinx. This time
around the story remains the same as Maxim returns with yet another gorgeous
single, however this single has a higher meaning to it, as it is a dedication
to the recent passing of Maxim's grandmother, who resided in Mauritius and
lived her life in front of the giant rock mountain known as Coin de Mire which
you see on the cover of this release. Nouvelles Noires translates to dark
news/black news...but don't let the title fool you, as this track is filled
with emotion and really tells a tale that is completely spoken without words.
To top things off too, we see the remix treatment from some of ESM's finest,
including core artists Digital Cassette and Denis Neve. When it's all said and
done, this release couldn't feel more complete and we are very pleased to
honorably present this fine piece of work from these amazing names behind ESM.
