The eighth day of the experiment sees the camp with only enough rations for
another day, but another fishing trip yields little in the way of nourishment.
As the members of the tribe rapidly fall into a spiral of decline and sickness
the whole project is on the verge of collapse, presenting the survival experts
and the producers with a dilemma over whether they will be forced to intervene
or call a halt to proceedings.
