slip 'n' slide - again founded by kickin's md peter harris - is
one of the most respected and successful names in house, having
established itself from it's beginnings in early 1991 with a
string of classic releases to the present day. its output has
centered on the varied, soulful and beautiful sounds of us house
     and garage.

it was roc & kato's "jungle kisses" (recently re-worked by ray roc
to massive acclaim), which set the precedent that would make the
label the stronghold for uk-pressed american deep house and
garage. the label's biggest hit to date came with de'lacy's
"hideaway" which was remixed to devastating effect by washington's
deep dish and sold over a million copies worldwide charting in
over 30 countries. since then, deep dish, 95 north, robbie rivera,
kings of tomorrow, phil asher and blaze have all risen to
prominence with uk club and beyond hits on the imprint.

alongside it's success with us house, slip 'n' slide has also
played a major role in pushing the sound of jazz onto both dance
floors and charts through their association with producers such as
phil asher and charles dockins and the highly-rated "jazz in the
house" series of compilations, now moving past 10 volumes of
success. phil asher's (aka restless soul/ blak 'n' spanish) "mama"
was one of 1997's uk house highlights.

the sounds and reputation of slip n' slide continue to grow
through continued release of the highest quality sounds. in
particular, slip n' slide is set to unleash the first original
studio album from the mighty and soulful blaze in over 10 years to
     world anticipation.
