              Nuremberg downtempo duo Boozoo Bajou
              follow their Apollo Records debut with
              an EP of unreleased goodies. "Amoniard"
              opens with the sound of vintage
              analogue synths, which are looped and
              locked into a shuffling funk groove
              that never seems to stand still. "Loss
              Of Big Nicks" makes up for a lack of
              driving rhythms with spectral,
              shapeless beauty, floating along as if
              beckoned by the ghostly samples,
              gorgeous piano and softly picked
              guitar. The three included remixes of
              tracks from 4 are starkly different.
              Red Axes construct a wiry post-punk
              rework of "S.A.E.", Gacha crafts a
              slice of textural techno from
              "Phonetrik" and Dr. Atmo transforms
              "Hirta" into a lush dub.
