▀ ▐ Release Notes: ▌ ▀
▀ ▐ ▌ ▀
▀ ▐ The original of this track from 1995 on Bassline ▌ ▀
▀ ▐ Records. Brian Tappert & Marc Pomeroy have managed to ▌ ▀
▀ ▐ secure the rights to re-issue this one and as well as ▌ ▀
▀ ▐ providing their own brand spanking new dub, have let ▌ ▀
▀ ▐ Audiowhores, (Adam Unsworth & Graham Lord) loose in the ▌ ▀
▀ ▐ studio to very good effect. ThereÆs been a hype ▌ ▀
▀ ▐ building around this release for a couple of months now ▌ ▀
▀ ▐ and I could have cursed the Royal Mail when they held ▌ ▀
▀ ▐ onto this particular slab of vinyl for longer than I ▌ ▀
▀ ▐ would have liked. Anyway, to the matter in hand, what ▌ ▀
▀ ▐ does it sound like? For starters I love the percussion ▌ ▀
▀ ▐ with its use of high hat combined with stronger beats. ▌ ▀
▀ ▐ Real guitars and bass along with soothing chords from ▌ ▀
▀ ▐ the rhodes pervade the mix until ConnieÆs voice enters ▌ ▀
▀ ▐ the fray rhyming off lots of reasons to be thankful. ▌ ▀
▀ ▐ The JazzÆnÆGroove dub is a guitar led affair with ▌ ▀
▀ ▐ electro synths and a booming bassline together with ▌ ▀
▀ ▐ strong percussion and a few lines of vocal. ThereÆs a ▌ ▀
▀ ▐ break half way through where itÆs all stripped back and ▌ ▀
▀ ▐ MarcÆs rhodes shines through before the bass and drums ▌ ▀
▀ ▐ kick back in for another whirl around the dance-floor. ▌ ▀
▀ ▐ This oneÆs been well worth the wait as Soulfuric blaze ▌ ▀
▀ ▐ one hell of a trail this autumn with a string of ▌ ▀
▀ ▐ excellent releases. ▌ ▀
▀ ▐ Enjoy.... always. ▌ ▀
