   │  The new album SILENCE IS BETRAYAL is a story of the last fours years  │
   │  of our lives, since the release of our debut KILLAFORNIA, and all     │
   │  the issues and cirumstances that have influenced us so greatly since  │
   │  then. It would mean the world to us to gain your support.             │
   │                                                                        │
   │  There have been many ups and downs within FIRST BLOOD over these      │
   │  past several years, but the band ALWAYS MADE IT THROUGH... and after  │
   │  far too long, we have finally reached that long awaited moment to     │
   │  release our followup album--an album that we firmly stand behind in   │
   │  both message and aggression.                                          │
   │                                                                        │
   │  It gives me chills to experience bands that still to this day         │
   │  challenge peoples' belief systems and make them THINK about other     │
   │  ways of living. We need more of those bands. We need more of the      │
   │  MESSAGE spreading throughout the hearts and minds of the hardcore     │
   │  scene and beyond. SILENCE IS BETRAYAL is our contribution to that     │
   │  MESSAGE.                                                              │
   │                                                                        │
   │  If we do nothing then nothing will change. If we are not satisfied    │
   │  with the current state of the world and we do not speak up, even if   │
   │  just amongst ourselves, then we give the forces that create these     │
   │  problems no reason to stop.                                           │
   │                                                                        │
   │  We do not have all the answers, but we do know this--We all have to   │
   │  start somewhere. We have to realize that the paths we currently       │
   │  follow may lead to destinations that may not be in our best           │
   │  interest. We must be open to the possibilities that better            │
   │  alternatives may exist.                                               │
   │                                                                        │
   │  The only lasting and meaningful changes are those that occur          │
   │  within--when you know and understand deep down in your own heart      │
   │  that you have the power to free yourself from the forces that cause   │
   │  such great suffering and misfortune. You don't have to be the         │
   │  creature that this razzle dazzle bullshit propaganda world is         │
   │  driving us to be--a silent, conforming consumer. You don't have to    │
   │  be a victim.                                                          │
   │                                                                        │
