back on his familiar One Handed Music
outpost with another extended session
of multi-referencing exotic electronica
under the How I (Rhythm Love Affair)
EP. Opening with soulful vocals and
shackling percussion, the sweetened
"How I" is a sunny slice of afro-dub,
followed by reductionist, refined
rhythm work on "Sega Chuckle" and more
relaxed, melodic styles on "On My Way".
The half-English, half-Mauritian
producer then slips into beat mode with
the melancholic string swagger of
"Sumerian Mother", ending on a more
up-tempo note with "South LDN" mixing a
tipsy melodic synth array with freeform
dub-funk.
