│ **There are 196 copies of this excellent 12" that are housed in │
│ custom hand painted covers. The covers were created by four │
│ members of the change agent art gang : Orien Mcneill, Mosco, │
│ Charlie pratt and swoon. Each of the 48 sleeve canvases depicted │
│ on the front of the regular edition have been seperated into │
│ their individual components and are now available to buy - │
│ obviously once these 196 copies are gone, that's it!** So after │
│ a year in which SOZE.SHT and Zach Zizmore finally got it │
│ together for their debut Warp doublepack (Burnerism, aye!), the │
│ team Shadetek return to their infamously selective Shadetek │
│ imprint for one of the most eye-poppinÆ and deliciously │
│ surprising twelves of the year. Recruiting fellow Berlin beat │
│ manglers Modeselektor and ChilΘs Drop the Lime for the action │
│ may not seem entirely out of place, but as the title suggests, │
│ this one is for the ladies! The opening cut here by Tiombe │
│ Lockhart is already splashing thick waves on both sides of the │
│ atlantic û a deliciously bass-heavy sweet soul R&B number │
│ digested into slinky slacks, in completely killer styles. If │
│ this track doesnÆt cross over, there just ainÆt no justice! │
│ Shadetek come up next with a devastating reworking, all │
│ sub-aquatic bass pads and stretched chords, reflective and │
│ infinately superior to anything youÆll have heard them front on │
│ for time, Onto the flip and Drop the Lime give up more Tigerbeat │
│ cuts from the edge û spastic splicing and percussive │
│ arrangements designed to jack without a care in the world, while │
│ the insanely good vowel-hating Modeselektor tank it up Dancehall │
│ styles with a showstopping mentalist jump-up number to destroy │
