│║ Iced Earth, paladins commanded with an iron fist ║ │
│║ by the evergreen Jon Schaffer, they have earned, ║ │
│║ and with no little sweat, blood, toil and tears, ║ │
│║ because today have. It is clear that the ║ │
│║ American band is not crowded halls or level, if ║ │
│║ we talk about sales, titans like Iron Maiden, ║ │
│║ Judas Priest, Blind Guardian or Helloween. But ║ │
│║ that hardly matters to his followers, who are ║ │
│║ becoming more, for the fan of the band, which ║ │
│║ devours everything that comes coconut Mr. ║ │
│║ Schaffer, you just surrender to the material, ║ │
│║ dark and dantescamente Riffero, the combo gives ║ │
│║ us every time you get into a recording studio. ║ │
│║ When the band sets foot on stage, phew, that's ║ │
│║ when the follower is delivered to one hundred ║ │
│║ percent and reached when sweat shirt of "The ║ │
│║ Dark Saga". ║ │
│║ Iced Earth is a very compact studio band. Works ║ │
│║ every row, every corner of a disc. Schaffer ║ │
│║ pampers her child at levels that border on the ║ │
│║ sick. Metal sick, addicted to good sonic epic. ║ │
│║ That's Jon Schaffer. A guy who loves heavy metal ║ │
│║ and makes every effort to bring it to full ║ │
│║ power, with the maximum number of faithful, so ║ │
│║ that gender never die and we die out. It feeds ║ │
│║ the power of Iron Maiden and eighties covering ║ │
│║ the invention with a solid layer, almost kevlar, ║ │
│║ based on the aura of Metallica pre- "Black ║ │
│║ Album", ie, the Metallica thrashers. Heavy Metal ║ │
│║ portentous, and aided by the adrenalφtica energy ║ │
│║ of the Bay Area. And live, brother, uffff, yes ║ │
│║ there goes the whole band. Pure and warrior ║ │
│║ energy. Full communion between band and fan, ║ │
│║ fighting every front as the cheapest delivery. ║ │
│║ Vicious, electric and Heavy circle meshes Steve ║ │
│║ Harris on "Live After Death". ║ │
│║ I am a devotee of sound combo, and something ║ │
│║ like "Festivals of the Wicked", groovy pack ║ │
│║ calved between DVD's live and live material, CD ║ │
│║ format (to discuss), puts me batteries male. The ║ │
│║ passage of ex-Priest, "Ripper" Owens, gave us a ║ │
│║ couple of good Metal disks and the return of the ║ │
│║ prodigal son, Matt Barlow, we happy life. Not ║ │
│║ that we gave away something to live up to ║ │
│║ expectations, which were in line with what gave ║ │
│║ birth to his first stay within the Schaffer, but ║ │
│║ still, things sounded moloncilla. Barlow had ║ │
│║ returned and everything seemed to be going well. ║ │
│║ ║ │

│║ And all fucking, man. Barlow announces that ║ │

│║ while making time to prepare "Dystopia" Iced ║ │
│║ Earth give us, as a farewell Barlow was (and, ║ │
│║ hell, and forever, I do not think Schaffer ║ │
│║ tolerate more rudeness), a compendium of several ║ │
│║ shows (the Metal Camp in Slovenia, the Wacken ║ │
│║ Festival and Hard Rock) to make the wait more ║ │
│║ bearable new material. Schaffer, who is not as ║ │
│║ Crazy as everyone thinks, remembers "Ripper" and ║ │
│║ lets you place on four tracks. The voice of ║ │
│║ "Jugulator" took pains to Iced Earth passes ║ │
│║ through and is no plan, as has happened in ║ │
│║ Priest, they will ignore. The Owens was, ║ │
│║ especially with "The Glorious Burden", gave good ║ │
│║ nivel≤n. In Priest was ninguneado him, but Iced ║ │
│║ Earth, at least some, you remember. ║ │
│║ Matt Barlow, Tim Owens and Jon Schaffer in the ║ │
│║ final legacy. The parting of two voices, one ║ │
│║ dearer than the other, which will give ║ │
│║ everything to never forget them (as if that ║ │
│║ would be possible). We will beat us a nice ║ │
│║ tribute, man. This is not crying. The heavys not ║ │
│║ cry. Here there is no time to say goodbye with ║ │
│║ hugs and handkerchief in hand. Here, like it or ║ │
│║ not, you come to pay tribute to an era and left ║ │
│║ behind a closing stage. A good Riffero ║ │
│║ festivalazo. Two icons live, and for the price ║ │
│║ of one. A kingdom, two titans (three, counting ║ │
│║ Schaffer, spokeswomen in "Night of the ║ │
│║ Stormrider"). A hit it hard. ║ │
│║ We landed in Slovenia, particularly in the Metal ║ │
│║ Camp 2008 Matt Barlow, shaved to the Metal God, ║ │
│║ and peeped. Smoke fills all. Welcome to hell ║ │
│║ metal Iced Earth. Commencement of the show. ║ │
│║ "Dark Saga" opens the show. Strings clean, ║ │
│║ though not devoid of mystery, and the voice of ║ │
│║ Matt already puts us in a situation. The riffera ║ │
│║ mass expands, the bass and has its own life and ║ │
│║ can not stop. "Vengeance is Mine", "Burning ║ │
│║ Times" (the best song possible start for a show ║ │
│║ of Americans, their "Aces High") and ║ │
│║ "Declaration Day" (Barlow reinventing the Owens ║ │
│║ material, but can not with him) continue with ║ │
│║ the decibel orgy. Perfect sound organic and ║ │
│║ puncher. Iced Earth are pampered, they like and ║ │
│║ do not want to sound less devastating than on ║ │
│║ disk. Rhythmic stronger than a bull, soloists ║ │
│║ steel guitars and thundering batteries. The ║ │
│║ auction, the booming voice of Barlow, who, as ║ │
│║ always, comes out. Howling, roaring, with that ║ │
│║ priceless "Hetfield-Halford" wave that we like. ║ │
│║ First Leg, fuck, outstanding. To vary. ║ │
│║ Time to visit the festival metalhead autonomasia ║ │
│║ (without ochentero Donington or stale Dynamo), ║ │
│║ time to get drunk and piss Store others, when ║ │
│║ Wacken. Check "Ripper". "Prophecy", "Birth of ║ │
│║ the Wicked" and "The Coming Curse", the three ║ │
│║ themes that formed in 1998 the bulk of his most ║ │
│║ feared trilogy, now make an appearance. And ║ │
│║ Barlow to defend, but with Owens, showing that, ║ │
│║ without any problem, the ex-Priest waves can put ║ │
│║ on the best times of combo in which it serves. ║ │
│║ The shows trilogy is sold without problems. The ║ │
│║ sound is not the best in the world. The move, at ║ │
│║ least in CD version is not teaching, really, ║ │
│║ what happened at Wacken 2007. The wave DVD, ║ │
│║ street, plasma Owens much better time. In CD ║ │
│║ version, despite having means apagadota history ║ │
│║ is palpable, without as much grip as you would ║ │
│║ expect. A Owens, it seems, always plays dance ║ │
│║ with the ugliest. However, a very good show. ║ │
│║ "Ten Thousand Strong", the best time we lay ║ │
│║ Owens, gives us full. Topic has a total ║ │
│║ charisma, which forms becomes large advances its ║ │
│║ minutaje. Too bad not all that gave the union ║ │
│║ "Ripper" was the nivel≤n -Iced Earth "Ten ║ │
│║ Thousand Strong". Metal Gods, man. More durote ║ │
│║ and you start the Ceboll≤n. ║ │
│║ We return to the Barlow was, not to forget, I ║ │
│║ suppose, who sends speech level. Not to leave ║ │
│║ out, ever the echo of the voice that made ║ │
│║ American lovers combo. As defined Bruce ║ │
│║ Dickinson Iron Maiden, defined Matt Barlow Iced ║ │
│║ Earth. Without further. The voice of the red, ║ │
│║ halfway between pure epic and more sullen anger ║ │
│║ has always impressed us, it seemed the final. It ║ │
│║ is normal now fully farewell recourse to Barlow. ║ │
│║ Sealing an era of luxury, gentlemen. "Travel in ║ │
│║ Stygian", "Dracula", "A Question of Heaven" and ║ │
│║ "Iced Earth", all tracks that old fan has ║ │
