     before cloud nine, sheffield`s mark brydon was a chart topper with
     the funky worm.  after they split he went on to form moloko and
     gain international superstardom.  cloud nine made an absolutely
     brilliant album called millennium that was due to be released on
     acid jazz in the mid nineties.  disaster struck a week before
     commercial release when the album was injuncted because of an
     uncleared fatback band sample.  9,500 copies out of a total presale
     of 10,000 were recalled and destroyed, 500 avoiding the bailiffs
     and slipping through the net creating the rarest of all album
     releases on acid jazz.  the group however didn`t survive the strain
     and commotion, disbanding soon after.
