Pixel is the brainchild of multi-dimensional producer/engineer, Kwesi
Dawes, who hails from Baltimore, Maryland. His debut , "People Need
People", reaffirms the notion that electronic music, in the right
hands, can be a compelling and upfront experience whilst still
retaining a very human heart beat.
Pixel's signature sound is a spacey blend of deep house and future
soul- giving equal parts to both aspects of the work, and shifting
easily in mood and tone from track to track. A few notches to one
side , and this might just be a one-off album of dance tracks. But
thanks to a keen vision, the record pushes forward with a brilliant
mix of cosmic keys, raw beats and righteous vocals!
