░██ █ INFO: █ █░
░██ █ █ ██░
░██ █ Having already impressed the likes of Gilles █ ██░
░██ █ Peterson, Groove Armada and Mr Scruff via a █ ██░
░██ █ series of vinyl 12" releases, this irresistable trio █ ██░
░██ █ (Jade D'Adrenz, Martin Lubran, DJ Ransom) █ ██░
░██ █ delightfully known as Crackpot, deliver their rather █ ██░
░██ █ suberp debut 'Shelf Hypnosis' on UK imprint █ ██░
░██ █ Tummy Touch (home of the fruity Tim "Love" █ ██░
░██ █ Lee). Fronted by vocalist D'Adrenz, who works in █ ██░
░██ █ that breathy Saint Etienne soul-type style, █ ██░
░██ █ Crackpot make suitably languid downbeat tunes, █ ██░
░██ █ albeit with a chunky willingness to use reasonably █ ██░
░██ █ solid snappy beats and quirky electronica inpired █ ██░
░██ █ flourishes, giving 'Shelf Hypnosis' a delicious █ ██░
░██ █ offbeat charm that goes way beyond the first few █ ██░
░██ █ listens. The result is a charming addition to any █ ██░
░██ █ downbeat and contemporary pop fans collection █ ██░
░██ █ (Saint Etienne, Moloko, Faithless, Groove Armada, █ ██░
░██ █ etc), and an album that is sure to grow in stature █ ██░
░██ █ over our impending summer. Recommended. █ ██░
