     │       In 2002 jazz legend Weldon Irvine Jr. passed away and as a       │
     │       reaction the super-producer Madlib entered the studio            │
     │       under a new moniker Monk Hughes. What came out of the            │
     │       musical womb is Monk Hughes & Outer Realms Tribute To            │
     │       Brother Weldon that served as a tribute to IrvineÆs              │
     │       illustrious career. Two years after its creation                 │
     │       Stonesthrow is releasing this LP (on the coattails of a          │
     │       Stevie Wonder tribute) for your commercial pleasure. The         │
     │       albumÆs 12 tracks are all instrumentals that are inspired        │
     │       by Weldon, ones which were sampled on hip-hop classics by        │
     │       BDP (ôMy Philosophyö) and ATCQ (ôAward Tourö).                   │
