│║ A live album is not the most obvious way to get ║ │
│║ acquainted with a band, but may in some cases ║ │
│║ lead to satisfactory results. Many fans will ║ │
│║ after hearing "Life After Death" fan of Iron ║ │
│║ Maiden have become, to the impact of Metallica's ║ │
│║ "S & M" not to speak. With that thought in mind, ║ │
│║ I listened to "Memoirs ... Live," the French ║ │
│║ power metal band Manigance. ║ │
│║ The band must have a strong coterie of fans ║ │
│║ stand behind them, otherwise you bring any live ║ │
│║ album after two and a half tight album. ║ │
│║ Supporters who makes itself heard good thing ║ │
│║ anyway, but more on that later. Stylistically ║ │
│║ Manigance looking for it in the corner of ║ │
│║ Stratovarius and Angra, and depart no millimeter ║ │
│║ from there. That means a dozen fast melodic ║ │
│║ songs with dutiful high and surprisingly clean ║ │
│║ vocals (think Tobias Sammet of Edguy), ║ │
│║ supplemented with an intro and a drum solo. The ║ │
│║ numbers are also given the genre little ║ │
│║ startling, but are very well together and listen ║ │
│║ the strong solos nice way. ║ │

│║ Both play and sound may be called sublime. So ║ │
│║ much so, that might be considered that the whole ║ │
│║ is recorded in a studio. A feeling reinforced by ║ │
│║ the sounds of the roaring audience, which ║ │
│║ occasionally seems very pasted. Take singalong ║ │
│║ Pieces doubt mostly gone, but it is guesswork. ║ │
│║ The only bruised spot on an otherwise delicious ║ │
│║ fruit. ║ │
