Soda Inc. should be known under the fanciers in the music-scene in the
meantime. After the release from a Mix CD and numerous appearances on
divers and renowned Compilations (Bar1,Terry's Cafe6,Warenkorb,etc) ,
found also the first Soda Inc. 12 on Shayan-Music it way directly into
the playlists from Dj┤s like Ian Pooley, Swag, Laurent Garnier,David
Duriez und Sasha (just to count a few)
With 'Full Moon' presented babak shayan and jon silva now their first
own Longplayer. The two met each other in the year 2001 as both nearly
at the same time joined work at the UCMG record-company and had to share
an office together. They realised fast that their love for ûspecialised
electronic- Music was not the only commonality of them. It arose a big
friendship, which as well was inspiring in the musical aspect for both.
In the following months the two released under various pseudonym names
together a serial of Productions, Remixes and Cd┤s which was in the main
released under the numerous Labels of the UCMG company.
In December 2002 the two quit their job at UCMG, to venture the next step
and to realise their own conceivabilities of a modern music-company.
So they relocated from Heidelberg to Cologne where they launched their
own Labels Pesto and Shayan Music. The album Full Moon arose in the
main during this first time in Colgne and documented on the musical way
the Experiences and Emotions which are associated in such a big change
in the life.
This is explaining the versatileness of this album.
When 'Full Moon' is celebrating the hope and the enjoyment like a hymn
and even sounds like a evergreen on the first listening, concerns the
melancholic 'Morning Prayer' from fears and disbeliefs which overwhelm
you when you are in hopeless Situations and your only hope is to get help
from above. So has every of the 16 Tracks a own Story and Babak Shayan
and Jon Silva are showing that they are able to tell this storys with
their music.
When you are checking the musical conversion is specially the aesthetic
style of producing attracting attention. With many Love for the small
details are used elements from different kinds of music, so it isn't
possible to put Soda Inc. into a specialized genre.
It concerns only about well produced electronic music in the broadest
sense û melancholic and melodic like Trance but with tight coolness and
understatement. Just call it: Neo-Trance!
NOTE: Some tracks aren't mixed, but the majority of them is mixed,
so decided to release this fantastic album as 1 file+cue.
