▓ i'm really not sure what kind of retards we got ▓
▓ releasing in the scene now, but i rarely stick my ▓

▓ here is a proper of ▓
▓ #Rnotes ▓
▓ Joe_Budden-Before_the_Growth-Promo_Mixtape-2004-ROD ▓
▓ ▓
▓ ▓
▓ they have left out the last bonus freestyle from ▓
▓ this promo mix cd for the upcoming release of JOE ▓
▓ BUDDEN - THE GROWTH slated for later this year/early ▓
▓ next year. ▓
▓ ▓
▓ anyway enjoy this release and partial interview with ▓
▓ some other idiots over at defjam records ▓
▓ ▓
▓ ▓
▓ ▓
▓ Def Jam have released what could be the worst excuse ▓
▓ for an artists selling badly, in a recent statement ▓
▓ from Def Jam spokesman Mark Richard. ▓
▓ ▓
▓ Mark explained..."Joe Budden is a talented Def Jam ▓
▓ artist who didn't sell as much as anyone expected. We ▓
▓ have discovered that Joe lost a significant amount of ▓
▓ sales due to a marketing mistake on all sides." ▓
▓ ▓
▓ "Joe began self-promoting himself years ago on ▓
▓ mixtapes. The problem with this route is that mixtape ▓
▓ DJs continually called him 'Joe Buddens,' and not Joe ▓
▓ Budden." ▓
▓ ▓
▓ Richard explained "Joe Budden essentially changed his ▓
▓ name when he released his album. There are many fans ▓
▓ of 'Joe Buddens' that did not know about the release ▓
▓ of the debut. They figured it was an entirely ▓
▓ different person, and decided not to buy the album." ▓
▓ ▓
▓ 10 points for originality Def Jam. ▓
▓ ▓
▓ Joe Budden's next album, "The Growth" will be ▓
▓ released in the summer with 2 album covers - one from ▓
▓ "Joe Budden", one from "Joe Buddens". Only time will ▓
▓ tell whether or not Budden fans are thick, or just ▓
▓ few and far between. ▓
