│ THREADS OF LIFE, this spring. Produced by Nick Raskulinecz (Foo │
│ Fighters, Rush, Stone Sour), the album showcases the virtuosic │
│ musicianship and aggressive yet melodic sound that the band is known │
│ for. Based in Springfield, Massachusetts, Shadows Fall first │
│ garnered attention from the underground metal scene with their first │
│ three releases, SOMBER EYES TO THE SKY, OF ONE BLOOD, and THE ART OF │
│ BALANCE. Known for their unrelenting live performances, they have │
│ toured with a diverse array of artists, among them Slipknot, │
│ Damageplan, Misfits, Lamb Of God, In Flames, Killswitch Engage and │
│ Glassjaw. The group's 2004 breakthrough album, THE WAR WITHIN, not │
│ only debuted at #20 on the Billboard 200 chart but also earned the │
│ group a Grammy nomination for Best Metal Performance and secured │
│ them a spot on Ozzfest's 2005 main stage. │
