| Poker Flat is proud to present the Poker Flat debut EP of multi- |
| talented Californian top-producer John Tejada. While "Flight To |
| Tokyo" has been released "in-the-mix" on the "5 Years Of Poker |
| Flat" album which includes a superb John Tejada mix-CD, the "Sweat |
| (On The Walls)" EP features the full length version on vinyl for |
| the first time. A very funky House tune with a punching beat. The |
| title track "Sweat (On The Walls)" is a slightly darker, powerful |
| and minimal-acid-driven track. The spoken word vocals hail from |
| "eklektic" & "Invisible" Drum'n'Bass queen Qzen to give the track |
| it's special attitude - a sure shot for the dancefloor. |
| To round up the EP, "Steppa" on B1 comes in a very reduced sound- |
| outfit with abstract spoken word fragments and a slightly broken, |
| cristal clear rhythm construction. All in all minimal House music |
| at it's best from one of the best electronic producers. |

| About John Tejada: |
| Since his `97 debut album on Essex techno imprint A13, John Tejada |
| has flirted with virtually every electronic style under the sun. |
| From techno to house to drum and bass, he has mastered them all. |
| The son of a celebrated soprano and an acclaimed conductor, Tejada |
| left Austria for the warmer climes of Southern California at age |
| eight. Driven by a love of hip hop, he began experimenting with |
| electronic equipment in his mid-teens and released his early works |
| on the aforementioned A13 and his own Palette imprint, many with |
| his recording partner Arian Leviste. Like most electronic |
| musicians, Tejada shops his music around; to date he has released |
| EPs on 7th City, Ferox, and Organised Noise and LPs on Immigrant, |
| deFocus, Plug Research, most recently his 2003 album "The Toil of |
| Idle Hands" (Immigrant). |
