series. During the Second World War, thousands of people from the Caribbean
islands volunteered to come to the United Kingdom to join the fight against
Hitler. Caribbean veterans share their wartime stories in their own words and
they also talk about how they have faced a lifelong struggle as they helped
build the country's multicultural society.
