bubble-pack sleeve. A note for note reissue of the SKA 007 EP,
Autechre & co's sparkling foray into downtempo found object/concrete
passages. 'Key Nell 1' with it's unbelievably funky cello pizzicato
line. 'Key Nell 2' with it's slower than slow mechanics and that
lovely 'Anvil-Vapre' era synth line bursting into the most ridiculous
nonsensical dsp-freakout polyrhythm like 8 minutes in, finally laying
to rest claims that this track was to be played at 45 on the 12" (for
what it's worth, it SOUNDS better at 45). 'Key Nell 3' with that
strange falling metal sound that never lets you down. 'Key Nell 4'
with those perfect synth-horn melody & counter lines and those lovely
metallic crunching sounds. Hasn't aged a bit, still miles ahead of
the folk who have had 4 years to catch up. Lethal." -- Hrvatski.
