: :........................ :
Three massive mash ups for the dancefloor - Jay-Z and
Dead Prez taking the prize for rocking it big style.
The mysterious Fake Records drop their first mash up
12" and show their knack for rocking a dancefloor.
First up Jay-Z's 'Dirt Off Your Shoulder' gets blended
with Dead Prez's anthem 'Bigger Than Hip Hop' with
predictably crazy results. The eclectic nature of this
12" contines with Beats International's cover of 'Just
Be Good To Me' over the ace 'Lady Dont Tek No'
instrumental from Latyrx (one of Shadows finest
moments!). The flipside is given over to Tweet's
'Oops. Oh My' blended with the Mickey Finn and
Aphrodite jump up jungle remix of the Jungle Brothers
from a few years back. A well made booty by people who
obviously know their way around a studio, this will go
on to be one of the biggest party records of the year.
