Out of the Muddy Waters of the Mississippi Gulf Coast, Gator Pit Records emerges
with a vicious array of MCs. The Gator Boys is the first group released from
this up and coming label. The first album released is entitled "Family Before
Friends" because Gator Pit is not just a record label, we are a family. We have
our own recording studio, four versatile producers, and 12 artists ready to take
on the world. We collaborated with up and coming artists such as Pastor
Troy(from Atlanta) and 5th Ward Weebie(from New Orleans) on this album.
Since Mississippi is almost always overlooked in everything, Gator Pit Records
will bring you live up to date as of what's been going on in the Mississippi
with this new album. It's just like a southern gumbo. Some of the words used to
describe the album are flavor,intensity, mellow, party, and controversal, but
it's all good. There is one particular mood which dominates the Gator Boys and
they say "You're either a Gator or you're Gatorbait".
