█ Dubstar was formed in February 1992 by Steve Hillier and █
█ Chris Wilkie. Sarah Blackwood joined as singer with the guys █
█ in September 1993. Within six months they were signed to █
█ Andy Ross's Food Records. █

█ By the time Dubstar split in winter 2000, they had achieved █
█ nine top forty singles and three top forty albums in the UK, █
█ album sales of over half a million copies, two Melody Maker █
█ singles of the week, a number two radio hit (beaten only by █
█ Oasis!) with the single No More Talk, countless Music Week █
█ singles of the week, headlined the NME stage of the Reading █
█ Festival in 1996, had a number one single in Israel and █
█ appeared on Top of the Pops three times. █

█ Steve Hillier was the main songwriter in Dubstar. The band █
█ released over sixty of his songs, eight of which were hit █
