As we edge ever closer to the release of Petrichors debut album, Mσngata, Soma
drop the 2nd single taken from this magnificent album in the form of Flight
Behaviour. This wonderfully crafted track is backed with Cocoon artist Illario
Alicantes retake on State Function which featured on Petrichor's first single
from Mσngata.
Petrichor ramps up the funk factor with Flight Behaviour as delicate drums
provide the solid background for a fantastic musical departure, defined by an
overwhelmingly catchy bass line and perfectly glistening keys, truly one of
Mσngatas standout pieces.
Alicante fires things up on his remix of State Function as the drums get a full
jacking overhaul but overall, the tracks still retains its haunting beauty
featured in the gliding pads which Ilario sweeps back and forth creating a
fantastic retake on the original.
