      In Spring of 2012, Gepetto won a battle at the local monthly      ██░
      "Hungry Hungry Hiphop", and the prize was the recording and       ██
      mixing of a four track EP by engineer/artist Dust. He             ██
      quickly wrote four songs to meet a tight deadline, realizing      ██
      later that they encapsulated his life experience over the         ██
      last two years. They tell the story of a lost love which          ██
      comes back to haunt, punctuated by periods of new                 ██
      beginnings. The four tracks on the EP represent the four          ██
      seasons, and reflect the cyclical nature of life's ups and        ██
      downs. From the opening banger "Brand New Day" to the soul-       ██
      crushing "Don't Want to Lose You," Fireflies is full of           ██
      story telling, both good and heavy vibes, and classic             ██
      cadences over Gepetto's signature brand of boom bap beats.        ██
