:: on. It makes Carcass sound like a childrenÆs TV show ::
:: singalong. It isnÆt subtle, but nor is it supposed to be. ::

:: If youÆre on the market for something brutally nasty and so ::
:: heavy it hurts, then look no further than æOrgy in GutsÆ. ::
:: The vocals are barely audible beneath a mudslide of ::
:: grinding guitars, the cymbal-heavy drumming crashing ::
:: relentless tidal waves of noise. The albumÆs 15 tracks blur ::
:: into a frenetic and sustained sonic assault. ::
:: ::
:: To complain that itÆs vulgar, tasteless or otherwise nasty ::
:: is to miss the point. YouÆre not supposed to like this. ::
:: Equally, it would be misguided to complain about its overt ::
:: lack of taste: puerile as it may be, this is not about ::
:: promoting anything, but a horroe-movie blast of nihilism ::
:: with a desire to shock and repel. ::

:: What it lacks in variety it makes up for in terms of sheer ::
:: density: æOrgy in GutsÆsits very much in the bracket of ::
:: late 80s and early 90s grind, as exemplified by acts like ::
:: Carcass, Napalm Death and Extreme Noise Terror, with ::
:: elements of the downtuned violence of early Fudge Tunnel ::
:: Thrown in for additional murk. In other words, æOrgy In ::
:: GutsÆ could have easily been released on Earache circa ::
