Actor Adam Pearson, who has suffered verbal and online abuse as a result of his 
facial disfigurement, sets out to question the reasons for disability hate 
crime. He tries to uncover the attitudes and influences that may be causing 
people to behave this way in the first place, questions the portrayal of 
disfigurement and disability in the media, and conducts an experiment measuring 
people's prejudice toward disfigurement.
