│ │
│ Noted electronic artists UNKLE, Greens Keepers, Ursula 1000 and │
│ Diplo have been pegged to mix up the music from Disney/Pixar's │
│ The Incredibles. This exclusive Remix EP is available at the │
│ Apple iTunes store. │
│ │
│ The Incredibles Remix EP showcases the diverse and cutting edge │
│ styles of the aforementioned artists and each remixer took │
│ elements from The Incredibles film and score, composed by │
│ Michael Giacchino, then reconstructed and re-created something │
│ totally new and exciting. │
│ │
│ In addition to the remix EP available on iTunes, there will also │
│ be a limited edition 12" vinyl promo collectors piece. Each set │
│ of the vinyl release will include 2 red 12" pieces of vinyl with │
│ the bonus remix by mash-up master DJ Reset. Each 12" will │
│ feature a unique character label from the film and everything │
│ will be contained in a special film reel casing with the │
│ Incredibles seal on the outside. Only 500 vinyl sets will be │
│ made. │
│ │
│ Leading off the EP is UNKLE aka James Lavelle and Richard File │
│ who's "UNKLE RECONSTRUCTION" is a guitar-based breakbeat track │
│ that hits hard and brings the fantastic world of The Incredibles │
│ to life! │
│ │
│ The Greens Keepers signature Chicago house style shines through │
│ their remix with a crisp, dance floor ready gem that will no │
│ doubt get bodies moving with jackin' beats and robotic cues from │
│ the film. │
│ │
│ ESL Music's own Ursula 1000 brings out the orchestral elements │
│ of the score and adds a percussion heavy mix that makes this one │
│ a retro-styled groover! │
│ │
│ Upstart DJ and producer, Diplo who is one half of Philly DJ │
│ collective Hollertronix, shows a more eclectic and left field │
│ side to his remix. Minimal and techy, Diplo's remix of 'Glory │
│ Days' from the score displays something totally fresh and next │
│ level. Diplo's new record Florida is climbing the college charts │
│ and getting press accolades across the board! │
│ │
│ DJ Reset mixes up a nice drum'n'bass concoction that ups the │
│ tempo on the score. DJ Reset is responsible for the mash up │
│ masterpiece 'Frontin on Debra' featuring Beck, Jay-Z and │
│ Pharell. │
│ │
