Eekwol re-enters the world of hip hop releasing her fifth ██░
full-length album, Good Kill. Eekwol presents a boldly ██
unique musical perspective based on struggle and ██
perseverance. Through an acknowledgement of hip hop and ██
Indigenous roots, Good Kill invites the listener into ██
unceded lyrical spaces, and uninhabited soundscapes. Notable ██
tracks are "Pitiful", that speaks to the complexities of ego ██
with beat production by 2oolman of A Tribe Called Red. Also, ██
"Ghosts" is derived from the perspective of a parent going ██
through the experience of loosing their children to ██
Residential School. The overall theme of the album is based ██
on the truths that we stumble across as we make many ██
mistakes. We learn through experiencing different ways to ██
survive. When we achieve great things, we call these good ██
kills. They sustain our families, our communities, and ██
ourselves. ██
