Dog, Paper, Submarine hail from the south of Sweden. Formed in the spring
2013 by ex-members of indie rockers Talking To Teapots (anyone?). Started
as a lo-fi duo project but quickly grew into a rock trio. DPS is about
turning your everyday angst, stress, boredom, whatever, into catchy (or
not) pop tunes. Obviously influenced by the greatest lords and lordettes of
pop, such as The Beatles, Nirvana, Breeders, Guided By Voices and The
Residents, not to mention mavericks such as the mighty Lazarus Clamp,
perennial Small Bear Records faves.
"Signal From Kepler-22b" is DPS's first release for Small Bear Records and,
we hope, the first of many. 8-track hand made CD in lovely full-colour card
wallet, lovingly assembled by our SBR minions in our secret underground
lair. Features extra CD-only track.
