▓████▓▌ Chateau Lamotte is a duet of authors, composers, ▓▌
▓████▓▌ producers, performers and DjÆs from Belgium, ▓▌
▓████▓▌ created in 1995. ▓▌

▓████▓▌ We are both named Philippe and we met in 1982 when ▓▌
▓████▓▌ we were animating a pirate radio station. Then we ▓▌
▓████▓▌ studied in the high school of plastic Arts in Mons. ▓▌
▓████▓▌ Since these years, we take part in varied ▓▌
▓████▓▌ disciplines like design, interior architecture, and ▓▌
▓████▓▌ also in art installations and performances. It is ▓▌
▓████▓▌ clear that the story of our duet is especially a ▓▌
▓████▓▌ long friendship story. ▓▌

▓████▓▌ We bring with our compositions a style including ▓▌

▓████▓▌ and unconscious influences from contemporary ▓▌
▓████▓▌ classical music to the experimental techno of this ▓▌

▓████▓▌ just finished the soundtrack of the movie ô Le ▓▌
▓████▓▌ regard du regard ö, by Nicole Bergmans. It is a ▓▌
▓████▓▌ documentary about the artist Didier Mahieu for whom ▓▌
▓████▓▌ we also composed a music for performance at the ▓▌
▓████▓▌ festival of the ô CarrΘ des Artsö in 2003. ▓▌
▓████▓▌ ▓▌
▓████▓▌ Our recording studio is a kitchen where we are ▓▌
▓████▓▌ cooking melodic experiences for gourmets. We are ▓▌
▓████▓▌ working with the electronic instruments in a ▓▌
▓████▓▌ jazzistic and arborescent way, leaving the ▓▌
▓████▓▌ atmospheres developing theirselves and the chance ▓▌
▓████▓▌ of the compositions bring us into discoveries or ▓▌
▓████▓▌ aroused details by our spirit of the game. Nature ▓▌
▓████▓▌ that surrounds us, inspires enormously our ▓▌
