Younghusband is a British band from London, UK. They released their first
single in June 2011 with the UK label Too Pure, followed by the "Crystal
E.P." released by shoegaze label Sonic Cathedral in Novomber 2011. They
began recording their debut album in the summer of 2012 with producer
Nicolas Vernhes, noted for his work with the likes of Animal Collective,
Deerhunter, Dirty Projectors and Silver Jews. The result, "Dromes", was
released in late 2013.
Originally released for International Cassette Store Day in September 2013,
this cassette single features "Silver Sisters" from Younghusband's debut
album "Dromes", plus two B-sides "Electric Light" and "Motion", the latter
of which is not available anywhere else. Each sleeve is unique, designed
and hand-printed by Heretic.
