▐▓███████▓▓ Ass Whoopin!! features Eddie Vaan's solid rhythm ▓▓███████▓▌
▓▓███████▓▓ guitar, characteristic voice, head ripping ▓▓███████▓▓
▓▓███████▓▓ bursts, soaring electric lines, and complex ▓▓███████▓▓
▓▓███████▓▓ acoustic strokes on blues numbers such as ▓▓███████▓▓
▓▓███████▓▓ "Mornin' Rain" (both studio and live versions ▓▓███████▓▓
▓▓███████▓▓ are included), "Never Used Blues" and the ▓▓███████▓▓
▓▓███████▓▓ instrumental "Pimp Slap Slide". Even his humor ▓▓███████▓▓
▓▓███████▓▓ comes out in the lyrics to songs such as "TV ▓▓███████▓▓
▓▓███████▓▓ Preacher" and "B.S. Makes The World Go Around". ▓▓███████▓▓
▓▓███████▓▓ As David White was quoted in the Chicago Reader ▓▓███████▓▓
▓▓███████▓▓ Weekly, "Eddie Vaan is one of our most ▓▓███████▓▓
▓▓███████▓▓ outrageously exploratory blues guitarists, he ▓▓███████▓▓
