     Jill Johnson is a Swedish country-pop singer in the contemporary
     Nashville tradition who, after breaking into the Swedish mainstream
     during the late 90s with material sung in her native language,
     began singing primarily English-language material to regular
     commercial success in her homeland.

     Doug Seegers is an Americana singer and songwriter based in
     Nashville. While growing up in Setauket, New York (on Long Island),
     Seegers was drawn to the music his parents loved and sang: hard
     country music from Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, Faron Young, Webb
     Pierce, etc. Like most teens, he fell in love with rock & roll and
     learned to play guitar. He was especially taken with the music of
     John Lennon. He attended college and graduate school in New York
     City.

     When Johnson and Seegers meet for the collaborative effort "In
     Tandem", it's not only bringing together two artists from two
     different continents, it also launches a co-operation founded in
     musical respect for one another as well as for the love of country
     and americana music. Recorded at Blackbird Studios in Nashville, TN,
     "In Tandem" features several of Nashville's finest studio musicians,
     The McCrary Sisters and Grammy nominated producer Joe Chiccarelli.
