Seelenluft's third album "Out Of The Woods", to be released on June
3rd, is a very private affair that was produced far away from his
hometown Zurich. After 10 weeks research on the streets of L.A.
last summer, where the basis for the album was composed,
Seelenluft's music now has extra groovy ass wiggle and double bass
bump. And vocals, of course. As he now works exclusively with his
laptop's Sample-ROM-Player, a production method that enables him to
make music anywhere, he has become independent of his Zurich
studio.
"The good thing about composing while travelling is, that one gets
inspiration from all over" he says. "At every corner, something is
lurking for which one is not prepared. One must open his spirit,
old patterns function no longer, and that in turn makes courage to
try out something new." Recently, Seelenluft was asked to put his
hands on other people's stuff as well - his remixes for Tipsy and
The Freeform Arkestra will be coming soon. Watch out.
Get your chopsticks ready for Seelenluft's excursion into the weird
and wonderful world of his record collection. Sleazy listening?
Obscure exotica? Trashy jazz? Even we don't know what to expect
but it's gonna be funny for sure.
