│║        OVERTURES are a melodic heavy metal band from           ║ │
│║        Gorizia in Italy. Formed in 2003, Overtures             ║ │
│║        recorded their first album, Beyond The                  ║ │
│║        Waterfall, which was released in 2007 through           ║ │
│║        the Videoradio label in Italy. In 2008 the CD           ║ │
│║        was distributed worldwide through a deal with           ║ │
│║        the German label Rock It Up Records.                    ║ │
│║        In 2009 Overtures featured on the ôReUnation û A        ║ │
│║        Tribute To Running Wildö tribute album through          ║ │
│║        Remedy Records, contributing a cover of the             ║ │
│║        Running Wild track, Pirate Song.                        ║ │
│║        In 2011, a year after signing a two album deal          ║ │
│║        with the Greek label Sleaszy Rider Records,             ║ │
│║        Overtures released their follow-up album,               ║ │
│║        Rebirth.                                                ║ │
│║        Entering The Maze, Overtures third album and            ║ │
│║        second on Sleaszy Rider Records was released in         ║ │
│║        May 2013.                                               ║ │
