was recorded when he was a member of Santana. The singer ██
created a modern blend of blues, jazz and soul. A firm ██
favourite of current jazz star Gregory Porter, Thomas is ██
sometimes overlooked. Produced by Bob Thiele, Thomas is ██
backed by an all-star New York band that includes Pretty ██
Purdie, Joe Beck, Richard Davis and James Brown alumnus ██
Pee-Wee Ellis. As well as featuring ambitious covers of ██
Motown songs now associated with Michael Jackson and Stevie ██
Wonder, the album features two tracks now popular with a new ██
generation of fans. Just In Time To See The Sun and It's My ██
Life I'm Fighting For have an excitement and groove that has ██
led to their revival by DJs. Remastered from fresh 24/96 ██
transfers, this is the finest that this album has ever ██
