     since 1998 nothingface has been releasing on joerg burger's label  
     eat raw, on treibstoff and - r.i.p. - harvest.                     
                                                                        
     {ultraboutique} is his emancipation from the cologne scene, this   
     is the record of a 'ripe' electronic musician.                     
                                                                        
     his distinct instinct for decent, classic-popalicious tapestries   
     in melodic composition, that in their way still remain minimal, is 
     what makes his records so unique. and whilst his classic, almost   
     pathological weirdness remains untreatable up to date, he managed  
     at least to shift back one gear.
