| Although still largely unheralded in Europe outside the nu-jazz and |
| downtempo hip-hop scenes, DJ Mitsu The Beats is widely regarded as one |
| of Japan's finest dusty-fingered crate-diggers, with a colossal record |
| collection to match. As a result, his sporadic mix CDs are never less |
| than essential listening. For this latest audio adventure, hes decided |
| to don his best pulling pants and head off on an erection section |
| excursion through the dimly lit world of soft-focus jazz-funk lovelorn |
| rare groove and slowdance instrumentals. Think pages from Ceefax, Tony |
| Hart's Gallery and Barry White doing the horizontal rumba (but not at |
| the same time, obviously). Sleazy, easy and oh-so smooth. |
