      │   Being the driving force of Terrawheel, JP has been at the    │░
      │   forefront of both the band and development of his cutting    │░
      │   edge Dutch roots/blues rock (dubbed "Roadhouse Blues" by     │░
      │   Bluesrevue 2000, USA).                                       │░
      │   The album "introducing à.Jean Paul Rena & Terrawheel" has,   │░
      │   even though a live show is where the band shows its true     │░
      │   quality, the smokey character of the band built in. Just     │░
      │   close your eyes and you could be in a Mississippi juke       │░
      │   joint or a true Chicago blues venue, hollering from an       │░
      │   Alabama porch or be in a gung-ho New York City mobster       │░
      │   lounge. There is no pussyfooting, no gaps between songs      │░
      │   long enough for you to recover. The tight-knit hard          │░
      │   ballin' sound is held together by groovin' drums and bass,   │░
      │   allowing Jean-Paul to overlay that with dark howlin' voice   │░
      │   and definite wailing "Crash and Burn" guitar. All this       │░
      │   punctuated and supported by the familiar echo's of a         │░
      │   top-class 'mississippi saxophone' (a.k.a. harmonica).        │░
      │                                                                │░
      │   Leader Jean Paul is no newcomer to writing good lyrics       │░
      │   either while arranging his wide variety of music - from      │░
      │   delta to rock. His previous recorded work bear witness to    │░
      │   a fast progression to the forefront of European bands        │░
      │   bringing a combination of his own music and noteworthy       │░
      │   timeless standards to the scene.                             │░
      │   This new release "Introducing ...Jean Paul Rena &            │░
      │   Terrawheel" on Corazong records includes originals with a    │░
      │   smattering of greats such as Albert King and Muddy Waters.   │░
      │   Produced by the well known 'arternative rock guru Henk       │░
      │   Koorn (Hallo Venray), the album promises to be the best      │░
      │   yet.                                                         │░
