          release notes:

          With their new album, Scrambles, Anthems and Odysseys, the  
          Sofa Surfers have created a sometimes dystopian, sometimes  
          hope-filled parallel reality. They take us to musical places
          that were already discernable on the horizon early in their 
          careers, but which they have only now attained so           
          uncompromisingly. Uninhibited, dark drones and sci-fi       
          synthesizers enter an alliance with gripping composition and
          excellent vocals. More than ever, the band allows itself to 
          feel emotions - deeply and strongly. Massive trap and       
          electro beats meet up with rave references and subtle hints 
          of the 80s - and with Mani Obeya's intoxicatingly clear     
          voice, wonderful beautiful precisely when needed, weaving   
          the strings of the tales told with taught precision. Soulcat
          E-Phife is a genius counterpart. The Viennese rapper drives 
          the tempo up, supporting the Sofa Surfers with her          
          unaccustomed emotional approach. The most astounding thing  
          about the bands eighth studio album release? The courageous 
          melodies, the commitment to emotion. You have never heard   
          the Sofa Surfers be so uncompromising. Unusual? Yes - and
