Konstantine was born in Moscow, Russia. At the age of 7, he
moved to New York City and has lived there since. He has
always had a strong interest in music and at an early age
was already playing bass in a small school orchestra. Having
always been very fascinated with electronic music and making
mix tapes, he got his first pair of decks in 1996 and what
followed was a compulsive fascination. He started out
playing funky breaks, but then interests quickly switched to
progressive trance and house.
While attending college at the University of ROchester,
Konstantine started to develop a blend of trance, house and
breaks while still maintaining a similar vibe to his sound.
This fascination lead him back into breaks, where he
originally started and the combination of all three of these
created eclectic sounds you can hear today.
Jumping into the very competitive New York City circuit, he
quickly started to make a name for himself spinning in many
local clubs and lounges around the east coast. This
dedication earned him a monthly residency in New York's
Centro Fly, landing spots with such huge talents as Halo and
Hipp-e, Chris Fortier, and Sandra Collins.
With many productions under way and a wide library of
personal mixes and re-edits that define a unique sound,
Konstantine is going to be a rising talent to watch out for
in the big apple.
