█║║█ It was the first song I did seriously for this "Christmas card" and █║║█
█║║█ the first time I also filmed the project of making music at home. █║║█
█║║█ Most people are not aware that most of these instruments are █║║█
█║║█ recorded by a single person and I think even then people would look █║║█
█║║█ at me as a singer. The approach is simple, very homely, and uses █║║█
█║║█ those Pixies book of tricks for 25 years, which is getting all too █║║█
█║║█ slow, go uphill and then downhill. It's a formula that turns out to █║║█
█║║█ work very well, because it makes the epic song the way unfolds. █║║█
█║║█ █║║█
█║║█ 2. Amazing Grace (Traditional 2007) █║║█
█║║█ A huge challenge. It is made with the sound removed from the █║║█
█║║█ camcorder, there is no professional sound here. The idea was to █║║█
█║║█ play several instruments at several different sites, on the go, in █║║█
█║║█ the car ... and all of them together give rise to a song. On the █║║█
█║║█ first day of filming I have done about 200 kilometers there in the █║║█
█║║█ West zone, but when I see none of the pictures had sound - there █║║█
█║║█ was a mistake with the camera. The next day, I started everything █║║█
█║║█ from scratch and what we hear on the CD is the second release, this █║║█
█║║█ time with sound. █║║█
█║║█ █║║█
█║║█ 3. O Come All Ye Faithfull (Traditional 2008) █║║█
█║║█ Radically different approach. In 2008, I was doing a tour of Dreams █║║█
█║║█ in Colour, when I came with an astronaut actually on stage to play █║║█
█║║█ the "Rocket Man". I decided to do a version of "O Come All Ye █║║█
█║║█ Faithfull" man's point of view coming from space and singing a █║║█
█║║█ Christmas song. Hence the spatial way it was produced, with a kind █║║█
█║║█ of strange chorus. It's the trial of all. █║║█
█║║█ █║║█
█║║█ 4. Last Christmas (Wham! 2009) █║║█
█║║█ It was very difficult to play because it is a classic. For a long █║║█
█║║█ time I avoided the classics because I thought people would not like █║║█
█║║█ it. It is played with piano, guitar voices, a sort of acoustic █║║█
█║║█ version [that are added] small percussions and little else. It was █║║█
█║║█ one of the most viewed of all my "Christmas card". It had to do █║║█
█║║█ with the popularity of music and the acoustic approach, through █║║█
█║║█ folk. █║║█
█║║█ █║║█
█║║█ 5. All I Want From Christmas Is You (Mariah Carey 2011) █║║█
█║║█ The original is a festive music with bells ... When I isolated the █║║█
█║║█ lyrics, I realized it was about something difficult, hard, so I █║║█
█║║█ played it to my shape. It has become a melancholic song, tragic █║║█
█║║█ means, but that sticks well to Christmas - it is warm, has █║║█
█║║█ something very close. █║║█
█║║█ █║║█
█║║█ 6. Happy Xmas (War Is Over) (Plastic Ono Band 2012) █║║█
█║║█ This was one of the more radical approaches to the original song: █║║█
█║║█ it is a kind of electro / Pet Shop Boys. He gave me some pleasure █║║█
█║║█ to do because it is a much larger studio production - I am █║║█
█║║█ recording a song as if to a disc. I raise the idea of ??recording a █║║█
█║║█ much more professional way. We had a very long process. I wanted to █║║█
█║║█ turn the song into something more danceable, [characteristic] that █║║█
█║║█ is not in the original. █║║█
█║║█ █║║█
█║║█ 7. Do They Know It's Christmas? (Band Aid 2013) █║║█
█║║█ This song was the most complex to address. I tried several ideas █║║█
█║║█ and I enjoyed the most was the most naked. As the original song is █║║█
█║║█ so well known and has many voices, I thought it would be █║║█
█║║█ interesting to play it softly regime, in the back - a guy with a █║║█
█║║█ tiny guitar playing in the simplest way possible. I did it in an █║║█
█║║█ attempt to survive the letter, which is actually interesting for █║║█
█║║█ Christmas time. █║║█
█║║█ █║║█
█║║█ 8. Oh Christmas Tree (Traditional 2014) █║║█
█║║█ Born for a very simple reason: while surfing the internet I found █║║█
█║║█ on sale a fact that Christmas tree. This is how the song was █║║█
█║║█ decided. I thought the fact so stupid, but stupid, I thought so, "I █║║█
█║║█ will buy this and make a version of" Oh Christmas Tree "". Made █║║█
█║║█ version of a very selfish way - just because they wanted to wear █║║█
█║║█ that fact. █║║█

█║║█ 9. Jingle Bells (James Lord Pierpont 2015) █║║█
█║║█ A few years ago, the school principal [a son] asked me if I could █║║█
█║║█ make a song to a CD to offer the school at Christmas. I did the █║║█
█║║█ "Jingle Bells" and the song I count to 10 because the idea was that █║║█
