    ██▌▄▀█     More serene and laid back than some of the other          ░██▌▄▀
    ██▌▄▀█     material I've heard from Mills, mainly the X-103 CD       ░██▌▄▀
    ██▌▄▀█     and assorted comp tracks. Very beautiful rhythmic         ░██▌▄▀
    ██▌▄▀█     pulses and neo-classical aspirations in a                 ░██▌▄▀
    ██▌▄▀█     Schulze/Vangelis mode, this compilation of his EPs        ░██▌▄▀
    ██▌▄▀█     goes down real smoothly. Tingly loops mingle with         ░██▌▄▀
    ██▌▄▀█     distant low-EQ hazy drones over those eternally           ░██▌▄▀
    ██▌▄▀█     graceful monotonous Detroit beats. It's arguable, I'm     ░██▌▄▀
    ██▌▄▀█     sure, but just as with the Derrick May overview, some     ░██▌▄▀
    ██▌▄▀█     of the beats acquire a Latin sheen that isn't always      ░██▌▄▀
    ██▌▄▀█     the Afro-Cuban rhythm one would expect - track two        ░██▌▄▀
    ██▌▄▀█     and maybe three have a castanet-worthy Spanish            ░██▌▄▀
    ██▌▄▀█     flamenco flair. Intentional? Who knows. Track 5 adds      ░██▌▄▀
    ██▌▄▀█     the hiss and sonic glitches that one would associate      ░██▌▄▀
    ██▌▄▀█     with the Basic Channel records - although at three        ░██▌▄▀
    ██▌▄▀█     minutes it's about one-third the length it should be.     ░██▌▄▀
    ██▌▄▀█     A classy package from React, with some liner notes        ░██▌▄▀
    ██▌▄▀█     from Mr. Mills himself.                                   ░██▌▄▀
