Rosolina Mar born in a winter staurday afternoon, 2000
with the three guitars by Marco De Togni, Bruno
Vanessi , Enrico Zambon and Andrea Belfi behind drums.
They everybody come from punk/hc/noise bands (S101,
SUPERPLATANI, ZAKLDIEN, GILDA) . After some months of
instrumental improvisations they recorded a CDR. After
the departure of De Togni's guitar they went to the
famous beach town. This event marks an important step
in band's evolution, carrying with its a change to
manage musical matter and the discovery of a new
identity, more sincerely rock. From summer 2002
Rosolina Mar plays approximately two dozens of live
shows in Italy and proudly shares the stage with band
as : DAVID GRUBBS TRIO, FROM HANDS, LORD BISHOP & HIS
ROCKADELIC KINGS, BELLINI, DEAD BROTHERS, RED HOUSE
BLUES, FRANCOIS CAMBUZAT...
Rosolina Mar's debut album is an exemple of how it is
possible paying rock (and roll) like if it were always
the first time. They came from different musics and
it's so easy identify them in theit album : a fresh
mix of new wave, seventies, hardcore, pop and latins
rhythms which seems mixed in Chicago, while they are
perfectly placed in the CD by FABIO MAGISTRALI. This
record shoul have been released in August insted of
