   Solotempo are Jean-Claude Langensand and Andre Senn, two of the original
   Spezial Material lineup that garnered such an instant reaction on the
   label's launch some years back. "Egoist" is actually the first new
   Solotempo issue for over two years, allowing them enough time to develop
   a fracturing hip-hop monster that's here mutated into a block stopping
   electroid mash up. Enlisting remix support from Raf & Superdefekt feat
   Mark Boombastik and the awesome Intricate, the result is a rampaging,
   careering party tune, jiggered, body-moving bass, laptop hiccups and
   joy, whistles! No one trick tune this, as the crowd participation swells
   to a frenzy, the bass annihilation begins, uncategorisable, delirious
   madness, in the nicest possible way. Solotempo's own remix of the tune
   opens the flipside in fine styles. A pensive padding crunch allows a
   moment of recollection, splintering sounds only part prepare us for the
   roughest piece hardcore around right now. Massive!
