█ YEAH!!..We are in Bologna at the end of 70's. █
█ There was born the new italian rock, son of █
█ punk and social stresses that had transformed █
█ the city in a battlefield. In those days there █
█ was only a name: Gaznevada, from the previous █
█ band Centro d'urlo Metropolitano. The year of █
█ 77, Andrea Pazienza, Radio Alice, the █
█ autonomous groups, guns in the trains: the band █
█ formed by Billy Blade, Bat Matic, Any Nevada, █
█ Chainsaw Sally and Robert Squibb is biased by █
█ this situation.. but not only. When Oderso █
█ Rubini ( a great mind, promoter first of █
█ Harpo's Baazar, then of Italian Records) █
█ published the first tape by Gaz, that with █
█ Mamma Dammi La Benza, the atmosphere was █
█ saturated. Gaz made an explosion. Their first █
█ single (Nevada Gaz/Blue TV Set) was yet █
█ spreading for months, when appears the first LP █
█ called Sick Soundtrack for Italian Records, █
█ with a very strange orange and black cover, █
█ characterized by a minimalist style. It was the █
█ autumn of 80, Italy discovered to gave rise a █
█ Martian's band. Out of Ramones' shoes of the █
█ beginning, and removed records like Criminale █
█ and Telepornovisione, Gaznevada opens the new █
█ decade with an album in which we can find █
█ something of Devo, Contortion, Talking Heads, █
█ and attacking electronics, the most eccentric █
█ new wave, but also our domestic Dadaism, a █
█ rescued iconography midway between noir and █
█ low-cost science-fiction, with a triumph of █
█ neurotic sounds, rough rhythms, sharp guitars, █
█ icy lights, bleu neons and cathode-ray tubes. █
█ Like a cold-shower for our youth worn out by █
█ hascisc, marijuana and piloted counterculture. █
█ Today Astroman.it proposed again that LP adding █
█ to it six songs of following mini, called █
█ Dressed to kill ( to pay homage to the psicotic █
█ genius of Brian De Palma), the starting single █
█ and a live version of Mamma Dammi La Benza. So, █
█ this is a FUNDAMENTAL record. Songs like Shock █
█ Antistatico and Pordenone UFO Attack sounds █
█ like old in the form (but, what today doesn't █
█ follow this way?), certain not a subversive █
█ attitude. They do evil still now. Then the band █
█ embraced the cause of dance ( well-educated █
█ till you want, but too much Saturday night in █
█ Riviera), before get loose for ever. Back Sick █
█ Soundtrack is still alive, and makes history. █
█ "A small label for a long march" was the slogan █
█ always with every Italian Records release. █
█ Oderso & co. was absolutely right: that █
█ stream, 25years later, is still active...YEAH!! █

▄│▀ rH has been releasing stuff for about four years now. although we ▀│▄
█ committed ourselves to release only stuff roughly characterized by the █
█ terms punk and hardcore we've been playing a big role in the scene in our █
█ four years of existence. a main concept of rH has always been the idea of a █
█ a leaderless group. decisions are met on the base of discussion, rather than █
█ authority and hierarchy. this way of handling issues can be pretty annoying █
█ sometimes, as it can take ages to agree on certain issues and get stuff █
▓ done. however, the occasional lack of organisation is a sacrifice rH is ▓
▓ willing to make, to guarantee individual freedom and thus a relaxed ▓
▓ atmosphere. after all it's amazing that we've kept the machine running for ▓
▓ about four years this way. ▓
▓ ▓
▓ we know that our releases may contribute to the growing sale loss of record ▓
▒ companies. generally that's no big deal of course, the whining of the record ▒
▒ industry is pathetic and we encourage everyone to pirate their music. ▒
▒ unfortunately the style we release is very often put out by small, ▒
▒ independent labels which work on a very low-profit basis, actually dependent ▒
▒ on record sales. so significant loss of sales in this case doesn't mean some ▒
▓ rockstar is making a few million less on his latest nu-metal album than he ▓
▓ used to, but us loosing the opportunity to listen to good music. ▓
▓ ▓
▓ therefore we ask you not to distribute this release on public sites or ▓
▓ peer to peer networks! please do not consider this release as a substitute ▓
▓ to the original, but as a way to promote new bands and check out records ▓
