Ungleich heroischer und bombastischer kommt TRIARII aus
Berlin daher. Zwei fette Military-Orchestral Maersche
fegen ueber einen hinweg, dass es nur so eine Freude ist.
"Triumph To Triumph", Opener dieser Single, donnert mit
brachialem Schlagwerk, kuendenden Blaesern,
Trommelwirbeln, auch hier Chorstimmen, Gong etc. und
laesst Vergleiche zu BOTIS, Tribe Of Circle und
verwandten Projekten zu. Sehr tanzbar, sehr gelungen.
Das zweite Stueck, "Military Order", ist aehnlich
gehalten. Markiges Snaredrum, Pauken und heftige
Sprachsamples treiben das Stueck voran. Der Songtitel
haette nicht treffender sein koennen.
Auch wenn sicher ein wenig, vielleicht gewolltes,
Klischee dahintersteckt und ich persoenlich normalerweise
nicht so richtig etwas mit solcher Musik anzufangen
weiss, hier wirkt alles sehr frisch, sehr gut produziert
und TRIARII braucht sich vor anderen Genregroessen
ueberhaupt nicht zu verstecken. Fuer Anhaenger von
Military Pop, Neo-Classic im weitesten Sinne eine groesse
Empfehlung!

In den letzten beiden Jahren hat sich ein Musikstil als
eigenes Genre etabliert, den man zwischen den Historical
Ambient-Werken von Joyeaux de la Princesse und Land sowie
dem Military-Pop von Dernier VolontΘ einordnen k÷nnte:
Thoroid, Predella Avant, Sophia und Arditi, also
vornhemlich skandinavische Projekte, trugen massgeblich
dazu bei. Dominierend in diesem Sound sind schwere
Trommeln, Fanfaren, schicksalschwere Streicherakzente,
militaerische Snaredrums und natuerlich historische
Samples und Geraeusche. Ziel ist es meist, einer laengst
vergangenen Epoche und ihren (meist destruktiven)
Energien Ausdruck zu verliehen. So schwankt diese Musik
zwischen Euphorie und Zermuerbung, mit der Option auf
kathartische Wirkung... Die beiden programmatisch
betitelten Stuecke "Triumph to Triumph" und "Military
Order" der vorliegenden Single von Triarii fuegen sich
perfekt in dieses Modell: Auf der einen Seite
monoton-ryhthmische Atmosphaere, majestaetisch und
duester, auf der anderen eine eingaengige Collage, die
sich ausgiebiger Sprachsamples bedient. Dazu eine
monochrom-braeunliche Covergestaltung mit
postindustrieller Fotografie. Im Rahmen der Erwartungen
ist diese Single absolut gelungen und wird den Fans des
Genres gefallen. Wer jedoch nach neuen Sounds und
originellen Themen sucht, wird hier eher enttaeuscht.
Aber das ist wohl auch kaum der Anspruch.

▄█ 5th year in the mp3 scene. This has definitely █▄
██ been a year of ups and downs. Some other groups ██
██ have taken the opportunity to slag us due to a ██
██ small percentage of questionable releases out of ██
██ the thousands we have released throughout our history. ██
██ Well, we will be the first to admit that we are only ██
██ human, and humans are prone to error, no matter ██
██ how careful they try to be. We strive to put ██
██ out the quality releases that you'd expect from ██
██ a group as old and hard-working as we are in AMRC. ██
██ You can rest assured that we will always do our ██
██ best to find and resolve any problems with our rips, ██
██ or the group as quickly as possible when it is deemed ██
██ necessary or proper to do so. To the groups ██
██ who have said that AMRC is dead or say that we ██
██ re-encode everything just because we've had some ██
██ errors in our rips every now and then... we're very ██
██ much alive and continuing with our legacy to release ██
██ the music that we enjoy and believe in. Before ██
██ you judge us and say that we're lame, take a ██
██ look at your own track records. I'm sure you'll ██
██ see that you're not so perfect after all. To ██

██ Operation Fastlink, we encourage the rest of ██
██ the groups in the mp3 scene and ALL scenes to ██
██ always be as secure as possible, and try your ██
██ best to keep our rips as well as yours away ██
██ from the p2p networks and public IRC channels. ██
██ Even more importantly, STOP people from selling ██
█▀ the fucking releases. If you know someone in ▀█
▄▀ the scene that's doing it, do what you need to ▀▄
▄▀ in order to make others aware and get them the ▀▄
▄▀ hell away from the scene. People who sell ▀▄
▄▀ releases fuck things up for everyone and are ▀▄
▄▀ the main cause for shit like Fastlink and ▀▄
▀▄ Buccaneer to happen. We know that it's nearly ▄▀
▓▄▐▌ impossible to control every aspect of the scene ▐▌▄▓
▄██▀ and guard every nook and cranny against unwanted ▀██▄
▐▌▀▓ attention and unsecure people, but it is in ALL ▓▀▐▌
▀▄▄ of our best interests to keep the scene closed ▄▄▀
▄ ▀▀▄ and private as much as possible to preserve ▄▀▀ ▄
▓█ ▐▌ security and the existence of the scene itself. ▐▌ █▓
